Teens get a lot of advice, not all of it is good advice. ConnecTeen offers a safe, reliable place to turn when teens have tough questions or need to talk. In order to introduce ConnecTeen to as many youth as possible, Distress Centre has embarked on a unique advertising campaign, designed to capture the attention and interest of Calgary youth in hopes of them adding ConnecTeen as a place to turn for support.

To do this, the character of Dutch Shinobi was created. Dutch calls himself a Life Sherpa – he’s trying desperately hard to become the next Ann Landers. He’s gone so far as to create himself a show “Shinobi Says” as well as put out his own posters, twitter feed, Facbeook Fan Page and radio ads. The only problem is, the advice that Dutch gives is terrible….and terribly funny. Thank Goodness, there’s ConnecTeen around for advice that doesn’t suck.
