Distress Centre Announces Appointment of Executive Director

Distress Centre is pleased to introduce Sterling Eddy as the new Executive Director. Mr. Eddy began his term with Distress Centre on Monday, June 11, 2012.
Mr. Eddy has held a variety of executive leadership and governance roles over his 36+ year career. Most recently he worked as Co-Founder and CEO of LeadWell Foundation in Calgary from 2005-2012. There, he led the organization to promote societal leadership for the health and wellbeing of people, communities and organizations,
Mr. Eddy has played an active role in governance through extensive board service. This has included time with the Southern Alberta Land Trust Society, Alberta Ballet, Santech Health Sciences, Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Alberta, QE II Health Sciences Centre (Halifax), Wood's Homes, Calgary Centre for Nonprofit Management, and many others.
